Jon Loomes is an English folk singer and guitarist specialising in the narrative ballads of the tradition. His work draws directly on traditional source singers and the revival generation.
Working in the lineage of Nic Jones and Martin Carthy, he treats the guitar as integral to the architecture of each song, shaping pace, tension and dramatic weight.
In performance these long stories come vividly to life: old songs made present again, delivered with authority, intensity and commanding presence.

Oli Matthews is a UK instrumentalist known for his high-energy live shows, captivating tunes and genre-blending sound. With roots in folk, jazz, and classical traditions, Oli has carved out his own genre-blending style: Folk-Funk - a vibrant mix of gripping melodies, punchy brass riffs, and driving bass grooves.. His spirited performances showcase professional multi-instrumental skills, seamlessly switching between Soprano Saxophone and Melodeon, blending self-composed folk melodies with funk infused brass hooks and infectious rhythms.
Guinea Lane

Guinea Lane are a saxophone quartet reimagining British folk music through original, dynamic arrangements and distinctive instrumental writing. Drawing on diverse musical backgrounds, they create richly textured performances that balance precision with warmth. In the Pagoda Project, the inimitable Paul Hutchinson (accordion) and Karen Wimhurst (clarinet/bass clarinet) are joined by acclaimed fiddle singer Hannah Cumming. Inspired by UK folk traditions, this is music and song cut through with experimentation, boldness, humour, and risk. Expect moments that shift from ethereal to gutsy, passion and tears tempered by humour, and improvisation ensuring no two evenings are ever the same.
Lauren South

Lauren South is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose work blends original material with traditional song. Accompanying herself on tenor guitar, fiddle, and shruti box, she creates performances rich in atmosphere and melodic clarity, inspired by landscape, night skies, and lived experience. Her debut album Tiny Boat received critical attention across BBC regional folk programming and FATEA. A regular on the UK festival circuit since 2019, she also collaborates with John Parker and Keith Donnelly.
The Lost Notes

Heard on BBC Introducing, The Lost Notes are a Birmingham-based Folk and Americana band known for energetic, joyful live shows that connect across generations. Their hook-driven songwriting and striking three-part harmonies have drawn comparisons with Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. 2025 FATEA Band of the Year Award winners, they are currently touring their third album across the UK, Spain, and Portugal.
Quantum Penguin

Quantum Penguin is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. Blending narrative songwriting with driving instrumental work, his performances move from intimate songs to high-energy passages, featuring fiddle, guitar, and bouzouki.
A three-time nominee for Folk Musician of the Year, he won Best Album at the Shropshire Music Awards for Adélie and was runner-up in the Lichfield Festival of Folk Songwriting Competition.
Coblers Child

Cobblers Child are a Gloucestershire-based folk quartet performing traditional songs and tunes of the British Isles with warmth, energy and close musicianship. Featuring melodeon, guitar, whistles, Northumbrian smallpipes and voices, their sound blends strong melodic playing with thoughtful arrangements and an easy onstage rapport. Chimera

Chimera are a six-piece folk ensemble delivering bold, rhythm-driven arrangements drawn from across the UK and beyond. With a line-up spanning melodeon, strings, brass, woodwind, guitar, percussion, and vocals, they bring scale and drive to both concert and ceilidh stages. Festival appearances include Chester Folk Festival, Just So Festival, and La Fête des Bêtes in Guernsey, establishing them as a dynamic presence on the contemporary folk circuit.

Together they explore English ballads and dance tunes with virtuosity, humour and musical conversation, creating performances that feel both timeless and vividly alive.

Belver

Belver are a dynamic traditional folk trio known for their expansive sound and assured live presence. Harry Abel, Dom Doran, and Jack Hogsden combine violin, whistles, concertina, pipes, melodeons, guitar, and tightly woven vocals to create performances of depth and drive. Recent appearances include Warwick Folk Festival and headline shows across the south of England, where they have established a strong and steadily growing reputation on the professional circuit.
Wet The Tea

Wet The Tea are a lively Anglo-Celtic folk trio bringing together rich harmonies and driving acoustic rhythm. Featuring Andy Connally on lead vocals, bouzouki, flute and whistles, Clare ‘Fluff’ Smith on violin, cello and vocals, and Adam Beresford-Browne on guitar, mandolin and vocals, the band blend traditional influences with contemporary songwriting. Andrew Cadie is a singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter whose work draws on the traditional music of his native Northumberland alongside the roots and soul sounds of the vinyl era. Now based in Germany, he performs widely across Europe as both a solo artist and as one half of the acclaimed duo Broom Bezzums. His solo shows move between powerful guitar songs, virtuosic fiddle playing and audience-rousing choruses, delivering traditional and original material with warmth, energy and unmistakable character.
Martin Vogwell

Martin Vogwell is lost. Somewhere you will find the guitarist, singer and songwriter searching for beautiful words and impossible harmonies... probably on a canal. Having mis-spent his youth in front of noisy amplifiers, he stumbled across an acoustic guitar in a mystical music shop (in Dursley) and has never been the same. Pressganged at a tender age into service with the bands Folklaw, Bewelian, The Vogwells, and Cobblers Child, he is let out for good behaviour to create critically acclaimed solo albums.
Jack Hogsden

Jack Hogsden is a melodeon player and guitarist rooted in the English folk tradition.
Drawing inspiration from the songs and dance music of Sussex, Surrey, Kent and the surrounding counties, he has developed a lively, rhythmically driven style that places the melodeon at the centre of his sound.
From Cotswold and North-West Morris tunes to session and ceilidh favourites, Jack's playing brings bounce, precision and character, showing how the dance music of England continues to thrive in the hands of a new generation.
Bagas Fellyon

Hailing from the dark depths of West Cornwall, Bagas Fellyon are re-imagining the sound of Cornish traditional music. Drawing on the rugged beauty of the Celtic coastline, golden sands and the grit of post-industrial decay, they infuse Cornwall's musical heritage with their own lived experience. Using fiddle, hammered Dulcimer, accordion, bass and drums, they weave hypnotic rhythms and ancient and modern melodies to create music that's vibrant, evocative and made to dance to.
All My Trials

All My Trials are a four-piece delivering a raw, rhythm-driven sound rooted in storytelling. Featuring Joe Hillman (vocals/guitar), Conrad Di Lanni (guitar), Mike Matthews (bass) and Troy Cook (drums), their original songs draw on myth and modern life, blending folk with powerful, gutsy energy to create performances that move and mesmerize. Renowned as a compelling live act, they are available as a duo, trio or full band, performing both acoustic and electric sets.
