Caper Music Representation is led by Debra Hannis, a lifelong participant in the English folk tradition.

 

Raised in a family immersed in traditional song and morris dancing, Debra grew up surrounded by the music she now helps to sustain. Performing, organising, and working within the folk community from an early age, she brings both lived experience and practical knowledge to her role as a representative.

 

Alongside her artistic background, Debra has experience in events programming and artist liaison, working closely with venues, festivals, and promoters. This dual perspective allows her to understand the needs of both performers and presenters, ensuring clear communication and professional, thoughtful booking processes.

 

She is proud to represent a carefully chosen roster of artists whose work reflects integrity, individuality, and long-term artistic commitment.
